Mix things up with a delicious batch of recteq Swedish Meatballs. With a touch of herbs, onions, and parsley with a creamy sauce, this homestyle flavor is perfect when you want a dose of comfort food!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 425°F with a cast-iron pan.
  • Step 2: In a medium sized bowl, combine the beef, bread crumbs, parsley, spices, and egg; mix well.
  • Step 3: Shape into golf ball-sized meatballs.
  • Step 4: Add the oil to the cast-iron pan and sear meatballs until golden on all sides (4-5 minutes).
  • Step 5: Add the meatballs to a Mesh Cooking Mat next to the cast-iron pan.
  • Step 6: Add the butter and flour to the pan to form a roux (1-2 minutes).
  • Step 7: Add the beef stock, cream, Worcestershire, mustard, and brandy to the pan and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 8: Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
