Joe Rogan's Triple Bacon Burger has gone viral for good reason. Our version includes a blast of our favorite rubs to make the final product unbelievably good!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the Hickory pellets, preheat recteq to 400˚F. Create 1/3 pound balls of meat and form them into burger patties. Season with 2 tablespoons Rossarooski’s honey rib rub on both sides and place them into the recteq.
  • Step 2: While burgers are cooking, cut bacon strips in half. Take 4 pieces of bacon and create bun-sized bacon weaves.
  • Step 3: First, place 2 pieces of bacon next to each other facing North and South. Take the other two pieces and place them over the first two pieces, facing West and East. Tuck them together to form the weave.
  • Step 4: Create 4 weaves, season with 1 tablespoon Rossarooski’s Honey Rib Rub and place them onto the Mesh Cooking Mat. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until desired doneness. Set aside.
  • Step 5: Check burgers and continue cooking until 140ºF-145˚F for medium. Top with cheese and remove from recteq. Toast burger buns for 2-3 minutes and begin to build burger.
  • Step 6: Spread kewpie mayo, Dijon mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onions on bottom bun. Add burger patty, bacon weave, burger patty, bacon weave, and then last burger patty. Spread kewpie mayo and Dijon mustard on top bun to finish burger.

Chef Pairings

You might not have room to add any sides to this burger, but if you need a little something on the side, we suggest Loaded Sweet Potatoes.
