Bourbon BBQ Shrimp Tacos

Your bourbon of choice just became your secret weapon for the best shrimp tacos you've ever had!

Tools Needed

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 450°F.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl add butter, Ben's Heffer Dust, recteq Cayenne pepper, recteq chipotle powder, Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub, and bourbon. Mix well. Pour into zip-top plastic bag.
  • Step 3: Add shrimp to marinade, and let sit for 30-45 minutes.
  • Step 4: While shrimp is marinating, in a mixing bowl add cabbage and cilantro. Mix well.
  • Step 5: n another medium size mixing bowl add orange juice, lime juice, yogurt, Jody's Asian Persuasion Rub, and honey. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Step 6: Pour yogurt mixture over cabbage and mix well. Place slaw in refrigerator until time to serve.
  • Step 7: Remove shrimp from marinade and place on the Mesh Cooking Mat. Place Mash Cooking Mat on recteq.
  • Step 8: Cook shrimp for 4-7 minutes. Toast tortilla as well for a few minutes per side.
  • Step 9: Remove shrimp and tortillas from recteq. Add slaw to tortilla and top with shrimp.
