Savory and smoky, these Shinedown Wings are going to hit the spot, whether you serve them for an appetizer or the main event.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the recteq DualFire to 225° on the right side.
  • Step 2: On a cutting board with a sharp knife separate the drums, flat and discard the wing tips.
  • Step 3: Season with 2 tablespoons of the Ron's Screamin' Pig Rub. Add to a Mesh Cooking Mat and smoke for 60 minutes.
  • Step 4: Preheat the left side of the recteq DualFire to 400° with a Dutch oven and 1 quart of frying oil.
  • Step 5: While the wings are smoking build the sauce by combining the butter, Shinedown Symptom Hot Sauce, Honey and 1 tablespoon of the Ron's Screamin' Pig Rub. Allow the mixture to simmer until well incorporated. Remove from the grill.
  • Step 6: Add the wings to the heated oil and fry until crisp about 5-8 minutes.
  • Step 7: Toss the wings in the sauce, add to a plate and top with the parmesan cheese.
