This Char Siu Pork Belly Burnt Ends brings the flavor big time! Teriyaki and Chinese 5 Spice flavors make the final product absolutely phenomenal.

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the Teriyaki Sauce, Chinese 5 Spice, Jody's Asian Persuasion Rub, and red food coloring, reserving 1/4 cup for tossing at the end.
  • Step 2: Cut pork belly into 1 inch cubes and marinate in the sauce for 24 hours overnight in the fridge.
  • Step 3: Preheat recteq to 300ºF.
  • Step 4: Arrange the marinated pork belly on a Mesh Cooking Mat in a single layer, leaving some space in between the cubes.
  • Step 5: Smoke for about 90-120 minutes until the pork probes tender and about 195ºF, brush or toss in remaining sauce.
