It's one of our most popular recipes for good reason. Whether you are hosting the watch party or bringing a dish along to the gathering, you'll definitely want to go with Game Day Queso. It's a true crowd pleaser filled with creamy cheese, spicy chorizo, and kissed with that legendary recteq smoke.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 400ºF with a cast iron pan.
  • Step 2: Cook the chorizo for 5-6 minutes (drain excess grease if needed).
  • Step 3: Add the onions and peppers and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • Step 4: Turn the heat down to 250ºF.
  • Step 5: Add the Rotel®, Velveeta®, cream cheese, and Ray's Loco Gringo Rub.
  • Step 6: Cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally .
