Difficulty: Beginner

The ultimate burger indulgence, the Million Dollar Burger takes a classic combo to the next level with a smidge of smoke and a glint of edible gold!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 500°F.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl add Wagyu beef, gold powder, gold leaf, Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub, and Ben's Heffer Dust. Mix well and form ground beef into 3 equal patties.
  • Step 3: Place patties on recteq and let cook for 6-8 minutes a side. Flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes. Top with cheese. Once cheese is melted, remove burger from recteq.
  • Step 4: While burgers are cooking, slice onions and lettuce. Add mayo, garlic paste, and Thousand Island Dressing to a small mixing bowl. Whisk together and set aside.
  • Step 5: Once burgers come off the recteq, place 3 buns on the recteq and toast both side of them. Remove and start to build your burger.
  • Step 6: Place the bottom bun down, then add the special sauce, lettuce, onion, and burger. Repeat process until everything is stacked, triple high. Enjoy.

Chef Pairings

It may taste like a million dollars, but it will taste even better served next to Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus and Grandma's Mac 'n Cheese.
