These are the baked beans that bring back your favorite BBQ memories!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 350° with a large Dutch oven.
  • Step 2: Add the bacon and allow to render until the bacon is just crisp, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Allow the vegetables to sweat in the bacon fat and become tender about 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 4: Add the chopped brisket, pulled pork, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub, and canned beans. Allow the mixture to cook uncovered for 60 minutes stirring often.
  • Step 5: Remove from the recteq once the sauce is thick, allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
