It's an epic appetizer that's a true crowd-pleaser. For your next gathering, serve up a batch of Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings with your favorite Lager. Reviews are in: this recipe is delicious.
Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, set your recteq to 325°F.
- Step 2: Slice onions into circles and add them to mixing bowl. Wrap bacon around onion slices. Be careful not to overlap bacon, or it won't render out properly.
- Step 3: Lay wrapped onions on recteq Mesh Cooking Mat and season all sides with Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub.
- Step 4: Place the Mesh Cooking Mat in recteq and cook for 30 - 35 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked and crispy.
- Step 5: Add cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella on top of onion rings. Once cheese has melted, remove from recteq and place on large platter.
- Step 6: Top with Ranch, Ashley's Wild Card White Sauce, and green onions.
