Here's an appetizer that will start your meal off the right way! Bacon Wrapped Cheeto Onion Rings bring together all of our favorites for an irresistible combination.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 375°F.
  • Step 2: Slice onion in to thick rings, set aside.
  • Step 3: Place Cheetos in food processor and grind until a Cheeto powder start to form. Remove from food processor and add to zip top bag.
  • Step 4: Add flour to mixing bowl. In a separate mixing bowl, add egg and water. Whisk until well combined.
  • Step 5: Dredge onion rings into the flour, then into the egg wash, then into the Cheetos bag. Let rings rest in Cheetos for 5 mins. Remove from Cheetos bag and place on Mesh Cooking Mat. Repeat process until all onions are done.
  • Step 6: Wrap bacon around rings tightly, then place back on the Mesh Cooking Mat and place in recteq for 25 - 30 minutes. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
