Looking for a great appetizer the whole family will love? Try this simple recteq wood pellet grill Pizza Roses recipe for a sure-fire win. You can use the recteq Pizza Oven, a Pizza Stone, or just the grill alone to create these delicious snacks!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Chef’s Note: While all our pizza recipes can be cooked to perfection on any recteq, for that authentic, wood-fired flavor and crispy crust, nothing beats results from the recteq Pizza Oven. It’s compatible with many of our grill models and brings pizzeria-quality results right to your backyard.
  • Step 2: Preheat the recteq to 425ºF.
  • Step 3: Roll or stretch out pizza dough into a rectangular shape on the recteq Dough & Pastry Mat, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step 4: Using a knife or pizza wheel, cut the dough in 3 inch wide strips.
  • Step 5: Top each slice with a few tablespoons of pizza sauce, then layer a small amount of pepperoni, sausage, and fresh shredded mozzarella.
  • Step 6: Sprinkle Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub and parmesan on top.
  • Step 7: Roll dough into pinwheel shape and add to a large muffin cup.
  • Step 8: Allow the dough to proof/rest for about 15 minutes before adding to the preheated recteq.
  • Step 9: Bake until golden brown and delicious, about 18-22 minutes.
