Sometimes the simplest sides are the most delicious! Add these Roasted Maple & Bourbon Glazed Carrots to your table for a burst of sweetness.

  • 2 pound(s) Whole Carrots, cleaned
  • 1/4 cup(s) Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup(s) Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup(s) Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup(s) Bourbon
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) Fresh Parsley, chopped fine

Tools Needed

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 400°F and place a cast iron skillet in grill.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl add: butter, sugar, syrup, bourbon and Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub. Whisk until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Step 3: Add cut carrots to mixing bowl and toss in sauce until all carrots are covered. Transfer carrots and liquid to cast iron skillet and place in recteq for 35-40 minutes, flipping the carrots halfway thru the cook.
  • Step 4: Remove carrots from recteq and place in a serving dish. Top with parsley and serve.
