Southern comfort at its finest, this is a delicious smoky version of a classic broccoli casserole.

  • 16 cups Fresh Broccoli Heads
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub
  • 3 cup(s) Rice, cooked
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 3 cup(s) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounce(s) Cream Cheese, softened
  • 8 ounce(s) Mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub
  • 3 cup(s) Colby Jack Cheese, shredded

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl add: broccoli, oil, and Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub. Mix well. Then, place broccoli on Mesh Cooking Mat and put inside recteq. Cook for 15-20 minutes, until broccoli starts to get charred.
  • Step 3: While broccoli is roasting, add to the large mixing bowl: rice, soup, mozzarella, and cream cheese. Mix well until well incorporated.
  • Step 4: Remove broccoli and add to mixing bowl. Mix well. Add mushrooms and Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub and mix well.
  • Step 5: Spray a 13 by 9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Pour contents of mixing bowl into baking dish. Top with Colby Jack cheese and place in recteq for 35-45 minutes.
  • Step 6: Remove and serve.
