Savory quartered mushrooms are slow-roasted with onion soup mix, then finished with a drizzle of balsamic syrup, melty provolone, and crispy breadcrumbs for a rich, comforting baked dish.
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat recteq to 400℉.
- Step 2: Slice the mushroom into quarters. In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms in the onion soup mix. Add to an 9 inch by 13 inch casserole dish and cook for about 45 minutes, allowing the water to cook out of the mushrooms.
- Step 3: Remove the casserole pan from the recteq, squeeze the balsamic syrup over the top, top with the sliced provolone cheese and top with the bread crumbs.
- Step 4: Place the casserole back in the recteq for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
