It's the best chicken wing recipe for the backyard cook! Try our Nashville Hot Chicken Wings for a delicious appetizer, perfect to get the party started.

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a bowl, combine the buttermilk and hot sauce, add the wings and allow to marinate in the fridge for 2-4 hours. Combine all of the ingredients for the dry rub.
  • Step 2: Remove the wings from the marinade and dry them well with paper towels.
  • Step 3: Preheat recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 4: In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil and the prepared dry rub.
  • Step 5: Allow the wings to rest with the dry rub for 15 minutes.
  • Step 6: Arrange the wings on the recteq in a single layer; cook for 25 minutes.
  • Step 7: Flip and continue to cook until the skin is crisp and the wings temp at ~190°F.

  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) Chili Powder
