Here's another delicious savory appetizer to add to your snack line-up. Sausage, Cream Cheese, and Ben's Heffer Dust make the perfect aesthetically pleasing finger food option to serve at your next get-together.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 425°F with a cast iron skillet inside.
  • Step 2: Brown sausage in skillet for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked, and drain grease. Turn recteq down to 375°F.
  • Step 3: In a medium bowl, mix together sausage and cream cheese.
  • Step 4: On a floured surface, spread one roll of dough out and pinch perforations to create a solid sheet of dough. Spread half of the sausage mixture on the sheet, making sure to not cover the edges.
  • Step 5: Beginning on the long end, roll filling into a log. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Repeat process for other sheet of dough.
  • Step 6: Remove and unwrap rolls. Cut into 1 inch thick slices and place onto greased baking sheet.
  • Step 7: Cook in recteq until brown. About 15-20 minutes and serve warm!
