Smoke up this delicious Pig Candy (candied bacon) on your recteq pellet grill for the best bacon ever.
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat recteq to 225°F.
 - Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the sugar, Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub, and Cayenne pepper.
 - Step 3: Lay the bacon on a Mesh Cooking Mat in a single layer.
 - Step 4: Using a pastry brush, brush the bacon with the maple syrup, then sprinkle with the combined rubs.
 - Step 5: Add to the recteq and smoke for 60 minutes; flip the bacon then brush the tops with maple syrup and sprinkle with the rubs.
 - Step 6: Continue to smoke for an additional 60 minutes until slightly crisp.
 - Step 7: Allow the bacon to cool for 30 minutes before enjoying.
