Looking for an easy dessert recipe that kids and adults will love? Smoked Cake Bars combines gooey marshmallows, sweet chocolate, and crumbly graham crackers to make a dessert no one can resist.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the recteq to 350°F.
  • Step 2: Lightly spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, egg, butter and graham cracker crumbs. Mix with spoon until combined.
  • Step 4: Reserve 2 cups of the cake mixture to the side and add the remaining to the cake pan, press the mixture into the bottom of the baking pan.
  • Step 5: Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crust in an even layer, lightly pressing the chips into the crust.
  • Step 6: Using a spoon, drop tablespoons of marshmallow fluff onto the chocolate chips. Lightly wet the bottom of the spoon and smear the marshmallow into an even layer.
  • Step 7: Sprinkle with the mini marshmallows and then top with the remaining graham cracker cake crumbs.
  • Step 8: Bake for 45-60 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
