  • 1/2 cup(s) Butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup(s) Sugar
  • 1 each Egg
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Red Food Coloring
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) All Purpose Flour
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Buttermilk
  • 6 ounce(s) White Chocolate Chips

  • Medium Mixing Bowl

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 375°F.
  • Step 2: Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3: Add the red food coloring, vanilla, egg, and buttermilk. Continue to mix until well incorporated, scraping the sides of the bowl a few times with a rubber spatula.
  • Step 4: In a small bowl combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 5: Slowly incorporate the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Once all the flour has been added, add the white chocolate chips and mix just until incorporated.
  • Step 6: Shape the cookie batter into golf ball size balls, add to a non-stick cookie sheet.
  • Step 7: Cook on the recteq for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are just set in the center. Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet 2 minutes after removing from the grill.
