What dessert could be better than classic Cheesecake? This recteq wood pellet grill recipe for New York Style Cheesecake is a delicious dessert for any time of year.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 325°F.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the crust and mix well. Add the crust to the bottom of a spring form baking pan and firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides to create a 1/4 inch crust.
  • Step 3: Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese and sour cream until well incorporated.
  • Step 4: Add the sugar and vanilla to the mixing bowl and beat until smooth, using a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl a few times.
  • Step 5: Add the eggs, flour, and heavy cream; mix for 1-2 minutes until combined.
  • Step 6: Add the filling to the crust and cook for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
  • Step 7: Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for 1 hour before refrigerating overnight.
