These sweet-and-salty bars are made on the recteq by coating crunchy Fritos in a warm peanut butter glaze and topping with melted chocolate.
Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 375°F.
- Step 2: Spray sheet pan with non-stick spray. Crush Fritos Corn Chips and place on sheet pan.
- Step 3: In a sauce pan add sugar and light corn syrup, place in recteq. Let come to a simmer, whisking often so sugar won't burn. Add Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub and peanut butter to sauce pan and mix well.
- Step 4: Once melted and combined, remove from recteq and carefully pour over Fritos. Using the rubber spatula, smooth out peanut butter mixture over the top of Fritos.
- Step 5: Top with chocolate chips while peanut butter mixture is hot.
- Step 6: Let cool until chocolate has set. Cut into pieces and serve.
