It couldn't be easier, but the payout is delicious! Gather your ingredients and get started with the simple but luscious Easy Peasy Blueberry Pie.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, set your recteq to 400ºF.
  • Step 2: Spray pie pan with non-stick spray and lay premade piecrust into the pie pan.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl add blueberries, cornstarch, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, and Chef John's Soul Powder Rub.
  • Step 4: Mix well until well incorporated. Pour berry mixture into pie shell and top with second pie shell. Crimp top and bottom pie dough to create a good seal.
  • Step 5: Combine eggs and water in small bowl and whisk well. Brush the top of the crust with egg wash and score the top in two or three places on top. Place in recteq for 45-55 minutes or until bubbly.
