It couldn't be easier or more delicious: Coconut Rice Crispy Treats with just a hint of smoke will be your new go-to dessert!

    Instructions

    • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 325°F and place large sauce pot on grill, allowing both to come up to temp.
    • Step 2: Line sheet pan with parchment paper, and spread a thin layer of coconut across it, covering the pan. Place sheet pan in recteq, allow it to cook for 8-15 minutes, then open it and stir coconut around, to keep it from burning.
    • Step 3: Close lid and repeat, stirring every couple minutes until coconut is GBD (Golden, Brown, Delicious). Remove sheet pan from recteq and allow to cool.
    • Step 4: While coconut is toasting, add butter and first listed marshmallows to sauce pan, and with a spatula, mix until butter and marshmallows are melted and well combined.
    • Step 5: Add rice cereal and mix well, add second listed mini marshmallows and mix well.
    • Step 6: To take these Coconut Rice Crispy treats to the next level, top with Chocolate or Caramel Sauce.
