Here's a fun holiday-themed recipe for the family to make together during the Christmas season. It's so delicious, you might want to customize the colors for other holidays and special occasions.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 325°F.
  • Step 2: Line a baking sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  • Step 3: Place the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Step 4: Add a small sauce pan to the grill with the butter and brown sugar. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes.
  • Step 5: Drizzle the butter/sugar mixture over the saltine crackers and place back in the recteq for 15-18 minutes.
  • Step 6: Allow the mixture to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Step 7: Drizzle the melted chocolate over the saltines, then top with the sprinkles and colored gel.
  • Step 8: Allow the mixture to rest on the counter for about 60 minutes then break into small chunks. Enjoy.
