Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your SmokeStone to 400°F.
- Step 2: Place pizza sauce in sauce pan and on recteq to warm up. Slice your hot dogs around the edges but not cutting it all the way through. Season with Ben's Heffer Dust and place the hot dogs on SmokeStone.
- Step 3: Cook for 10-15 minutes until hot dogs start to open up. Remove from SmokeStone and set aside. When sauce comes to a simmer remove from recteq.
- Step 4: Lay pepperoni in rows of 4 with 5 pieces per row. Top each row with 1/2 cup of cheese. Top cheese with 1/4 cup of warm pizza sauce. Once cheese is melted add hot dog to top of sauce.
- Step 5: Place the hot dog bun on top of dog and use recteq SmokeStone spatula to flip dog, sauce, cheese and pepperoni off of SmokeStone into bun and enjoy.
