These recteq-baked gingerbread cookies blend classic warm spices with a hint of Jody’s Asian Persuasion for a rich, aromatic holiday treat.
Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 350°F.
- Step 2: Line baking sheet pan with parchment paper. In mixing bowl add: flour, sugar, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and Jody's Asian Persuasion Rub. Mix well.
- Step 3: the electric mixing bowl add: butter and egg and then cream together with a whisk. Add molasses and mix until well combined.
- Step 4: Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix slowly, until dough starts to form. If dough is too soft, place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Step 5: Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Use cookie cutter to cut shapes and place on parchment paper. Place baking sheet inside recteq and bake for 8-10 minutes or until GBD(golden, brown, delicious).
- Step 6: Remove from recteq and allow to cool on wire cooling rack. Once cooled, frost and serve.
