Ingredients

Serving Sizes

  • 2 3/4 cup(s) Warm Water
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon(s) Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub
  • 5 1/2 cup(s) All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Smoked Garlic
  • 2 Strips Prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Basil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup(s) Ricotta Cheese

Tools Needed

  • Step 1: In a large bowl add the warm water, yeast, Colden's Freakin' Greek and Olive oil. Allow the yeast to bloom for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 2: Add the flour, mixing with a large fork for 2-3 minutes, then knead by hand for 8 minutes until a nice dough ball forms. Add a bit more olive oil and cover with plastic. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until double in size, about 1 hour.
  • Step 3: Preheat recteq pizza oven to 375ºF.
  • Step 4: Portion the dough into 2 small sheet trays. Using your fingertips, press the dough into an even flat layer.
  • Step 5: Spread the garlic along one half of the dough followed by the prosciutto, basil, oil and ricotta cheese.
  • Step 6: Pull the dough over itself and careful press with your fingertips to smooth and neaten the dough back into the small sheet tray.
  • Step 7: Top with a bit more olive oil and a sprinkle of Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub.
  • Step 8: Bake in the pizza oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and delicious.
