There is nothing better than fresh Sourdough Bouce, straight from the grill. This simple recipe will make bread your new hobby!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Combine the sourdough starter and the warm water.
  • Step 2: Add in the flour and salt, mix, and then knead for 5-8 minutes until a soft dough forms. Cover with Plastic and allow to proof for 45 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Step 3: Punch the dough down, then place the dough in a parchment lined bowl and allow to rise again until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Cut a few relief slices across the top of the boule.
  • Step 4: Preheat recteq to 500ºF with a Dutch oven with lid.
  • Step 5: Using the parchment, lift the bread boule and place in the Dutch oven. replace the cover, and allow to bake for 25 minutes.
  • Step 6: Remove the lid and cook until the top is golden brown and crisp.
  • Step 7: Remove the boule and allow to cool completely before slicing.
