Cook Time: 45 min

Difficulty: Beginner

Here's our favorite summery, overnight breakfast bake made simple with premade cinnamon bread. With just a little bit of prep time, tossed in the fridge to cool, and then cooked on your recteq the next morning, you're going to wow the brunch crowd.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Toss 2 cups of sliced strawberries in a bowl with sugar. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Step 2: Cut the bread into 1 inch pieces and place in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Spoon cream cheese mixture over the bread.
  • Step 3: Layer with strawberry mixture and remaining bread. In another bowl, whisk eggs and half & half until blended; pour over the top of casserole and refrigerate, covered, overnight.
  • Step 4: Set grill to 375°F. Remove casserole from refrigerator while grill preheats. Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream and remaining strawberries.
