  • 2 1/2 teaspoon(s) Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup(s) Milk, warmed
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Sugar
  • 1/3 cup(s) Butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 each Eggs
  • 4 cup(s) All Purpose Flour, sifted
  • 1/2 cup(s) Butter, soft
  • 2 cup(s) Brown Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Cinnamon, ground

Tools Needed

  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • 13 by 9 Inch Baking Dish
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Step 1: Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk with 1 teaspoon of the sugar; allow the yeast to begin foaming for 3-5 minutes.
  • Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the soft butter, eggs, flour, salt and remaining sugar, mix until smooth.
  • Step 3: Pour the milk mixture over the flour mixture until well incorporated.
  • Step 4: Cover with plastic wrap and allow the dough to double in size in a warm part of your kitchen.
  • Step 5: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step 6: Smear on the 2nd listed butter across the dough.
  • Step 7: Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and top evenly across the butter, roll up into a log and cut rolls 2 inches thick.
  • Step 8: Preheat recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 9: Add to a greased baking dish and allow the rolls to rise again until doubled in size.
  • Step 10: Add the cinnamon rolls to the recteq and bake until golden brown and delicious for about 30-35 minutes.
