Hearty and smoky, recteq Ranch Pork & Beans combines tender meats, bold seasonings, and a touch of sweetness for the ultimate comfort food.
Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 400°F. Place the recteq Dutch Oven inside your recteq.
- Step 2: Add bacon grease, onion, and peppers to the recteq Dutch Oven. Cook until onions become translucent.
- Step 3: Add garlic paste, crushed red peppers, Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub, Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub, Stevie's Habanero Honey, Ray's Loco Gringo, and recteq Ancho Chili Powder. Mix well, until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Step 4: Add beef and pork and cook until 80% of the way done. Add Beans and mix well and bring to a simmer with the lid on the recteq Dutch Oven.
- Step 5: Remove lid from recteq Dutch Oven, add ketchup and hot dogs to beans. Bring back to a simmer with the lid off the recteq, stirring with wooden spoon often.
- Step 6: Let beans simmer for 25 - 30 minutes. Remove from recteq and serve.
