This Savory Sage Stuffing is the side worthy of all your greatest main course success stories. With a smidge of our favorite Rubs and savory sausage, you’ll find the results are perfect for your holiday menu.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq with a large cast enamel Dutch oven to 400ºF.
  • Step 2: Add the sage sausage and allow to cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking into small pieces with a wooden spoon until the sausage is cooked through.
  • Step 3: Add the celery, onion, carrot, butter, Ben's Heffer Dust, and Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub. Allow the vegetables to sweat for 8-10 minutes until just tender.
  • Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, add the bread cubes, the sausage & vegetable mixture, shredded cheese, and stock. Mix well.
  • Step 5: Add to large baking dish and place in the recteq. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and delicious.
