Philly Cheesesteak Fried Rice is a bold fusion that combines tender shaved beef, sautéed peppers, onions, and mushrooms with fluffy fried rice, scrambled eggs, and melty cheese for a savory twist on the classic sandwich.
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat recteq smokestone to 450℉ Medium High.
- Step 2: Place 1 tablespoon of butter on the left side of the griddle, immediately add the shaved beef. Place 1 tablespoon of butter on the right side of the griddle, immediately add the mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper. Using the spatulas, cook the meat and vegetables until 80% cooked.
- Step 3: Place 1 tablespoon of butter in the middle of the griddle, add the 4 whole eggs, and scramble. Add the chilled rice to the top of the eggs and mix well.
- Step 4: Combine all the items on the griddle and allow the mixture to stir fry until the rice starts to pop, about 4 minutes
- Step 5: Add the steak sauce and top with the sliced cheese, allow the cheese to melt and enjoy this fun mash up of a sandwich..... fried rice style!
