Want to switch up your holiday flavors this season? Go with Holiday Dirty Rice Dressing, filled with plenty of veggies and some of our favorite recteq rubs!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 400°F. Place your cast iron skillet on the grill.
  • Step 2: Add oil to cast iron and place pork, beef, and chicken livers in cast iron and cook until 80% of the way done.
  • Step 3: Add onion, pepper, celery, and carrots to cast iron and cook down until veggies start to become soft.
  • Step 4: Add garlic, Ron's Screamin' Pig Rub, Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub, oregano, and dry mustard. Mix well and cook until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Step 5: In a large mixing bowl add cooked rice. Add the mixture in the cast iron skillet to the mixing bowl and mix with rice.
  • Step 6: Spray a 13 by 9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Place the rice mixture inside baking dish. Spread rice out and smooth it down.
  • Step 7: Top with Mozzarella and parmesan cheese and place in grill for 20-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Step 8: Remove from recteq and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
