Need a quick and easy family-friendly meal? It's the perfect time to cook up the Italian Sausage Sliders. With pull-a-part simplicity, these are easy to batch for a crowd!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 425°F with the flat top griddle.
  • Step 2: Add the ground sausage and cook for 7-8 minutes until cooked through. (Drain excess grease if needed.)
  • Step 3: Add the julienned peppers and onions, and cook 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Step 4: Cut Hawaiian rolls in half, butter the bottom rolls with half of the garlic butter, and place in a large pan.
  • Step 5: Add the ground sausage and pepper mixture to the bottom rolls, then top with the mozzarella and replace the tops on the rolls.
  • Step 6: Apply a second smear of the garlic butter on top of the rolls.
  • Step 7: Bake at 425°F for 15-25 minutes until the rolls have browned and become slightly crunchy.
  • Step 8: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
