This recteq smoked Simple Seared Ribeye Steak recipe is all you need to serve up an incredible steak, the perfect balance of tender smoky flavor and delicious tastes from our recteq Rubs.

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat recteq to 500ºF. For a better sear, utilize the recteq Sear Kit.
Step 2: Season the steak liberally on both sides by layering Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub and then Ben's Heffer Dust.
Step 3: Add the ribeye to the preheated grates and allow to sear for 3-5 minutes until the desired crust has developed. Flip the steak and continue to cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 130ºF.
Step 4: Allow the steak to rest for 5-10 minutes prior to serving.
