This Simple SmokeStone recipe for S'mores Quesadilla make for a lightning fast dessert option! Five minutes to cook and endless compliments!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the cherry pellets, preheat recteq Smokestone to Med-Hi heat (375°F). Let the griddle heat up for about 10-15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • Step 2: Lay two tortillas on a clean surface. Sprinkle half of the tortilla with chocolate chips*, mini marshmallows, and a handful of crushed graham crackers, leaving the other half empty for folding.
  • Step 3: Fold the tortilla in half to form a semi-circle. Or you can wrap the contents in the tortilla similar to a burrito, but flatter.
  • Step 4: Lightly spread softened butter on both sides of the folded quesadilla to help it crisp up on the griddle.
  • Step 5: Once the griddle is hot, place the buttered quesadilla on it. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, and the chocolate and marshmallows inside are melted and gooey.
  • Step 6: Use a spatula to press down gently on the quesadillas while cooking to help everything melt together.
  • Step 7: Remove the quesadillas from the griddle and let them cool for a minute or two. Cut each quesadilla into wedges and, if desired, dust with powdered sugar for a finishing touch.
  • Step 8: *Substitution Suggestion: You can substitute chocolate chips with Nutella or chocolate spread if you prefer.
