Give this simple recipe a try: Classic Rolled Lasagna with Smoked Sausage. We know you'll agree that pasta is better than ever when cooked on a wood pellet grill!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Cook the lasagna noodles, per the packaged instructions.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, spinach, parmesan, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic, basil, Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub and eggs. Mix well.
  • Step 3: Spray a 13 inch x 9 inch pan with nonstick spray, then add 8-10 oz of sauce to the bottom.
  • Step 4: On a cutting board, lay out the cooked lasagna noodles, add 1/4 cup of the cheese mixture, and spread along the noodle, top with 1 tablespoon of the cooked sausage, roll up each noodle and place in the sauce with the seam side down. Repeat.
  • Step 5: Top the rolled noodles with the remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese, cover tightly with foil and cook in the pan. Preheat recteq to 350°F. Once grill reaches temp, place the pan in the grill for 45-50 minutes until the lasagna is hot and bubbly.
  • Step 6: Remove the foil and cook until the top is slightly browned; about another 10-15 minutes.
  • Step 7: Allow the lasagna to rest on the counter for 15-20 minutes before serving, enjoy!
