Here's a quick and simple recipe for Halloween night or anytime you want to add a little whimsical fun to your recteq cooks!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the recteq Bullseye with the Pizza Stone at 500º. (If you have the Bullseye Deluxe, you can increase the temperature to 600ºF-650ºF for a quicker cook).
  • Step 2: Sprinkle the Pizza Peel with the semolina or cornmeal to help keep the dough from sticking.
  • Step 3: Stretch the dough in a 14 inch circle, place the dough on the Pizza Peel, and slightly pull out the sides to create arms for the ghost.
  • Step 4: Using a spoon, spread the sauces evenly across the dough, top with the shredded mozzarella, add the olives to create eyes, and arrange the pepperoni to create a mouth. Add the Lil' Smokies for arms.
  • Step 5: Add the pizza to the stone by placing the Pizza Peel on the stone and with a quick motion, pull the Peel away, allowing the dough to slide off onto the stone.
  • Step 6: Allow the pizza to bake for 8-10 minutes, until the dough has become evenly browned and the cheese melted.
  • Step 7: Remove the pizza by sliding the Pizza Peel underneath the dough. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing with the Mezzaluna Cutter.
