With out a doubt, Rec Tec has absolutely the best customer service around! Had a bad auger motor, and within 3 days had a replacement. Thanks to Trey and the rest of the staff for outstanding performance!!!
Customer service at its best
I have two Rec-Tectec grills. One at my home and one at a vacation home. Beyond the great performance of the grill these guys have figured out customer service at its highest level. Every time I have called with an issue they have bent over backwards to make sure I had diagnostic help or the part I needed, without reservation. They have paid expedited shipping, sent replacement parts for free. I cannot recommend highly enough the Rec-Tec. And thanks to Connor specifically for treating me like the most important customer he had. Great job guys. I will keep recommending your grills.

When my auger motor failed on my RT-680, I immediately called Rec Tec for a replacement. Two days later I had a new motor on my doorstep. I had already disassembled the old motor and auger so installing the new motor was a 15 minute job. The new motor is much more quiet and I noticed it is from a different manufacturer.
Easy to install
I had an incident where my auger motor blew out on my Rectec mini grill. It was after 6pm on a Friday night so I filled out a support form on Rectec's website and was pleasantly surprised that I got a call back first thing Saturday morning to troubleshoot the problem. It was identified that my auger motor needed to be replaced so they shipped this unit out free of charge. It was easy to install and works like a champ.<br><br>My only recommended change to this part is that it does not come with another bolt/pin to replace the existing one. In my case the auger got jammed and bent the heck out of my bolt so I still need to go out and get a replacement bolt.

After first auger motor went bad, the guys at Rec Tec immediately sent me a new one. Instructions were easy to follow and in no time the Rec Tec was up and cooking!
Installed in under 20 minutes, and that includes chasing down my tools, then putting them back.
Needed a new auger motor due to something jamming in the feed hopper. It shipped fast and included the shear pin. Easy install, plugged in and is working perfectly.

Recently I had trouble (on Thurs before Memorial day weekend) with the auger on my new RecTec Bullseye. This was late in the day but I did have a Rep. answer my call. After sharing my problem he said he couldn't help me but he "knew a guy". I received a text from Chris (tech support EXPERT) who I promptly called. The result of the call was that he assisted in getting the proper part expedited to me Saturday so we had a great Holiday BBQ experience. Thanks Chris for the extra effort of using your personal phone as we talked and text our way to a solution. This shows a level of engagement that is greatly appreciated! Customer service at this level is rare but I hope other manufactures treat this as the new NORM.
