Mediterranean Lamb Burger
Ingredients:
- 2lbs. ground lamb
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup red onion, minced
- 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Tzatziki:
- 32oz Greek yogurt
- 1 cup European cucumber, grated
- 2 tbsp dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp Durty Gurl Bloody Mary Rub
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
- Pre-heat recteq to 425℉ with a sear kit.
- Combine all the ingredients for the burger, mixing well.
- Shape into 6oz patties then place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes prior to searing.
- Sear on each side for 4-5 minutes until an internal of 145℉.
- Combine all ingredients for Tzatziki and let rest in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before serving.
- To build the burger, add to a toasted pita bun and top with the tzatziki sauce.
