Game Day Philly Cheesesteak Hoagies

Another great Game Day hit! Serve up these Game Day Philly Cheesesteak Hoagies and your fans will go wild.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 450°F with a cast iron skillet or flat top griddle inside.
  • Step 2: Season shaved ribeye with 1 tablespoon Ben’s Heffer Dust and place on griddle or cast iron and cook for 7-8 minutes until cooked 3/4 of the way. Drain excess grease, if needed, and remove meat.
  • Step 3: Season veggies with 1 tablespoon Ben’s Heffer Dust and add to griddle or cast iron, cooking 3-4 minutes until tender. 
  • Step 4: Combine meat with veggies in pan and cook additional 2-3 minutes. Remove meat and veggies and turn grill down to 350°F.
  • Step 5: Add cheese to small grill-safe pot and place in recteq. Heat for 10 minutes.
  • Step 6: Cut hoagie buns in half, butter both sides, and toast in recteq for 2-3 minutes. Remove buns and add philly mixture to both sides, top with cheese. Serve open faced.
