Your family will love this delicious, fall apart brisket packed with flavor from Jody's Asian Persuasion Rub.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, set your recteq to 325°F and let it come up to temp.
  • Step 2: In the food processor add: beef base, onion powder, garlic paste, ginger, brown sugar, and Jody's Asian Persuasion and blend until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Step 3: To the processor add: sesame oil, soy sauce, and .5 cups of beef broth. Mix well until a paste is formed, spread paste all over trimmed brisket. Let sit for 15 - 20 minutes before placing it in hot recteq.
  • Step 4: Cook to an internal temp of 165°F - 175°F( about 2 hours) and remove.
  • Step 5: Wrap tightly in foil wrap with beef broth, butter, and brown sugar inside. Be careful to seal tightly, with no tears. Place back in recteq until it reaches an internal temp of 203°F and is probe tender.
  • Step 6: Remove from recteq and let rest for up to 2 hours before slicing and serving.
