The pickle fans will be in hog heaven! This is the perfect starter and the Matador makes it easy to double the batch!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat Matador to 375℉.
  • Step 2: Drain the pickles well from the brine.
  • Step 3: In a medium size bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, and 3 tablespoons Ray's Loco Gringo Rub to create the dredge.
  • Step 4: Mix the pickle chips well in the dredge, and using a wire mesh strainer, shake off all the excess dredge.
  • Step 5: Slowly add the pickle chips to the Matador and fry until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
  • Step 6: Remove the pickle chips from the hot oil, add to a plate with a paper towel, to remove excess grease.
