Smoked Chicken Legs

You know you can't wait to get these on your recteq and spice up your backyard party! Smoky, sweet, and dripping with our gourmet BBQ sauce, these chicken wings will be a staple for all of your weekend BBQ cookouts.

NOTE:

If using sauce, add when internal reaches 155°F.  

  1. Preheat recteq to 325°F.
  2. On a cutting board, trim any excess fat or skin on chicken. 
  3. Rub with olive oil, season with Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub, then Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub on top.
  4. Arrange chicken legs on the recteq grill and spritz with spray butter.
  5. Cook for 90 minutes until an internal temperature of 165°F.  

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

Be the backyard hero with these smoked chicken legs and make sure that you have some great sides to go with them. We suggest a fresh salad, grilled corn, or deviled eggs.
