If you’ve got a craving for pizza, your backyard should be your first stop. This smoky Deep Dish Pizza is dripping with cheese and tasty goodness from Italian Sausage and Colden’s Freakin’ Greek Rub. Trust us, it tastes even better than it looks!

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 2: Stretch the pizza dough to be large enough to cover the bottom and the sides of the cast iron skillet.
  • Step 3: Lay the mozzarella slices all over the bottom and up the sides of the pizza dough, repeat with the provolone cheese.
  • Step 4: Break up the ground sausage into small pieces and place on top of the cheese along with the pepperoni.
  • Step 5: Pour the sauce evenly across the top of the cast iron, top with Asiago cheese and Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub.
  • Step 6: Place in the recteq and cook for 45-55 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the top of the pizza almost has a slight crust to the top of the sauce.
  • Step 7: Allow the pizza to rest 20 minutes before slicing, it will be very hot!
