Serving Sizes

Ingredients

  • 10 ounce(s) Pizza Dough
  • 2 pound(s) Mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 pound(s) Provolone Cheese
  • 1 pound(s) Italian Sausage
  • 1/2 pound(s) Pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) Asiago Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub
  • Step 1: Chef’s Note: While all our pizza recipes can be cooked to perfection on any recteq, for that authentic, wood-fired flavor and crispy crust, nothing beats results from the recteq Pizza Oven. It’s compatible with many of our grill models and brings pizzeria-quality results right to your backyard.
  • Step 2: Preheat recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 3: Stretch the pizza dough to be large enough to cover the bottom and the sides of the cast iron skillet.
  • Step 4: Lay the mozzarella slices all over the bottom and up the sides of the pizza dough, repeat with the provolone cheese.
  • Step 5: Break up the ground sausage into small pieces and place on top of the cheese along with the pepperoni.
  • Step 6: Pour the sauce evenly across the top of the cast iron, top with Asiago cheese and Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub.
  • Step 7: Place in the recteq and cook for 45-55 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the top of the pizza almost has a slight crust to the top of the sauce.
  • Step 8: Allow the pizza to rest 20 minutes before slicing, it will be very hot!
