In honor of Dan Patrick's Birthday, the recteq Team pulled out all the stops to do something that's maybe never been done before -create a fully pellet smoked Meat Cake!
Instructions
- Step 1: To create this epic recteq Meat Cake, start with all ingredients prepped and cooked. You can layer them however you like, but here is how we built our cake.
- Step 2: For the first layer, start with a Cheese Pizza on a wooden cutting board. Then, add layers of sliced Brisket. Between the layers, you can add some Jalapeño Cream Cheese to hold things together.
- Step 3: Next, add pulled pork and top with burnt ends. We used Mashed Potatoes piped as decoration, just like you would decorate a baked cake.
- Step 4: Last, add Chicken Lollipops and Jalapeño Poppers for the final decoration around the cake.

Chef Pairings
It's really hard to imagine anything else would be needed along with this carnivore's dream, but maybe a light salad to even things out?
