Here's a simple and delicious appetizer that will appeal to guests of all ages.

  • 16 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 4 cups(s) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Velveeta Cheese, softened & chopped coarse
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub
  • 2 cup(s) Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Provolone Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup(s) Small Pepperoni
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Fresh Basil, chiffonade
  • 1 bag(s) Tortilla Chips

Tools Needed

  • Cast Iron Skillet
  • Electric Stand Mixer
  • Spatula
  • Step 1: Using the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat recteq to 350°F. In the bowl of the electric stand mixer, add cream cheese, 1/2 of mozzarella, Velveeta, Colden's Freakin' Greek Rub, and mix until well combined.
  • Step 2: Evenly spread cream cheese mixture into cast iron skillet. Top cream cheese mixture with pizza sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of sauce, then add the pepperoni.
  • Step 3: Place the cast iron skillet into recteq and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is browning.
  • Step 4: Remove from recteq and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
