Enjoy this loaded BBQ sausage dog, piled high with smoky pulled pork or brisket, crunchy slaw, and bold flavor in every bite.
Instructions
- Step 1: Set recteq wood pellet grill to 400–450°F.
- Step 2: Grill sausages for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until heated through and lightly charred (165°F internal).
- Step 3: Heat pulled pork or chopped brisket on the grill or in a pan until hot.
- Step 4: Butter brioche buns and toast cut-side down until golden.
- Step 5: To build the dog, add a swipe of BBQ sauce and mustard on bun. Add sausage and top with pulled pork or brisket. Follow up with your choice of coleslaw, bacon jam, and fried onions. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and add a light dust of rub.
- Step 6: Place assembled dogs back on the grill for 2–3 minutes to melt and set flavors.
