These Asian-inspired burgers combine juicy beef, caramelized chili pineapple, crisp greens, and creamy wasabi mayo for a bold combo.
Instructions
- Step 1: Mix ground beef with peanut sauce and peanut butter. (Do not add too much peanut butter as the texture will get greasy.) Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Form patties without overworking the meat. Thick patties stay juicy and delicious!
- Step 3: Soak pineapple in chili sauce 10–15 minutes.
- Step 4: Grill pineapple until caramelized (placing on piping hot grates gives you the best caramelization).
- Step 5: Cook burgers 4–5 minutes per side at 400°F–450°F.
- Step 6: Mix mayo with wasabi paste (this provides the best contrast, don't skip it).
- Step 7: Toss spring mix with Asian dressing.
- Step 8: Build the burgers by stacking: bun, patty, pineapple, greens, wasabi mayo.
